Welcome Applicants and Candidates – Track Your Application Status and Update Your Profile
In order to receive important communications including newsletters, policy updates, and missing document reminders, it is imperative that the candidate contact information be up-to-date. Candidates can update their own information by going directly onto the NCCAOM website at www.nccaom.org and update their own account under Login >>.
All Applicants or Candidates who have previously submitted an application with the NCCAOM already has a profile with the NCCAOM but, must login to personalize their “User Name” and “Password”. Default login settings are as follows:
User Name = NCCAOM ID number
Password = enter the first 3 letters of the Candidate’s last name plus the NCCAOM ID number. The first letter of the last name must be capitalized. Please change your password at the first login by going to “My Account” and choose “Change Password”.

Once the applicant/candidate is logged into their account, go to the “Service” menu button and choose “Certification”. Click on “Your Certification Status” to view where your application status is in the certification process. Review the “Definition of Terms” on the “Applicant” home page for a better understanding of the statuses.
