The Council of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine’s (CCAOM) Clean Needle Technique (CNT) course is required for all applicants seeking National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicines’ (NCCAOM) certification in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

NCCAOM certification cannot be awarded until verification of the completion of the full-day in-person CNT course is received from the CCAOM.

The NCCAOM would like to encourage applicants to schedule to take the CNT course, if they have not already done so.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: The CCAOM will again be offering CNT courses internationally in 2013. The first course will be offered in Seoul, Korea on May 26th, in the Korean language. A Chinese language course will be offered in Beijing, China, on September 22nd. On November 3rd, another course will be offered in Seoul, Korea; however, this course will be conducted entirely in English.
