Asian Bodywork Therapy (ABT)

The Asian Bodywork Therapy Examination will be administered in October 18-30, 2010.

Candidates for ABT certification are encouraged to submit applications before June. 30, 2010.

Asian Bodywork Therapy (ABT) Exam has been revised for 2009. Candidates are encouraged to review the new content outline that includes statements of Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA) by clicking link below.

 

Practice Tests Online

All NCCAOM candidates now have the advantage of taking the official NCCAOM Online Practice Tests via the NCCAOM website. Online Practice tests are offered for Acupuncture, Chinese Herbology and Foundations of Oriental Medicine.

Each NCCAOM Online Practice Test contains five individual tests, each containing 50 multiple-choice items. Each practice test will follow the NCCAOM examination content outline for each certification examination.  Subscription price is $60 to $75 for unlimited access for 90 days. Exam Administration Q&A and Year Round Testing

 

 

The NCCAOM is pleased to announce year-round testing which began February 15, 2007. The modular exams for certifications in Acupuncture, Chinese Herbology and Oriental Medicine may be taken year round. There are no deadline dates for application submissions and once your application fulfills eligibility requirements, you may schedule your exams at your convenience at one of 200+ Pearson VUE locations world wide.

Exam Scoring Information

To help aid in the better understanding of the scoring process used by NCCAOM the information below was originally prepared by our psychometric vendor, Schroeder Measurement Technologies (SMT). Document A: serves to explain the process that the Exam Development Committees use to determine the passing score. Document B: supplies an explanation for the equating of test forms and how the scores are scaled to the number which appears on your test score report. These documents are general explanations and do not discuss specifics about your examination.
