NCCAOM Recruits SmithBucklin Press Release
- The National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM)® has retained John Richardson, Director, Government Relations and Health Care Practice Group at SmithBucklin to provide federal advocacy services, further enabling the ability of the 36-year-old organization to work with U.S. policymakers and regulators. The partnership is producing a three-pronged strategy to build awareness of acupuncture services as a mainstream, evidence-based approach for pain management while expanding patient access to nationally certified acupuncturists and advocating on behalf of NCCAOM National Board-Certified Acupuncturists™.
- NCCAOM was mentioned in two major media outlets encouraging consumers to visit the NCCAOM site to find a certified practitioner.
Syndicated Article Distribution Project
- A syndicated news article addressing the topic of opioid abuse and chronic pain and how NCCAOM and acupuncture can help was developed. The goal of the article is to increase the amount of times the term “NCCAOM nationally board-certified practitioners” appears in news articles and drive consumers who are interested in finding a certified acupuncturist to the NCCAOM website. The article is scheduled to be distributed in August.
